So after four years of living here, I think I have finally found the look I want. I did a gallery wall going all the way down the stairs. I just finished it yesterday and I think it turned out great. I used all black frames but in different sizes, materials, and designs.
In the niche, I put a vintage dress form dressed in a fabulous red and white toile dress, (of course, she's also wearing a vintage apron) a tall candle holder, and a cute sign. (I am not 100% convinced of the candle holder but I'm going to live with it for awhile.)
I would love to hear your thoughts or ideas...
Until tomorrow,
Kristy

Hi Kristy~ Your entry is so charming and welcoming! I love that you have filled it with your pictures and the dress form is darling too! Thank you for sharing at Feathered Nest Friday! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a neighbor who takes pictures of their kids every year. They then hang up the pictures on their wall. It's really cool to see how they mature year to year.
ReplyDeleteHi, I call myself a decoratoraholic as well. I actually just started a blog about a week ago. I am still trying to get it ironed out. A photo collage is always a great design idea. And.what better way to display photos of your family. Nice entry. By the way I am Trish from the decoratoraholic.
